The rice husk carbonization machine is a continuous biomass carbonization system that operates on the principle of oxygen-free pyrolysis (dry distillation). Originally developed to address the specific characteristics of rice husks, it is well-suited for fine, loose biomass feedstocks. The system facilitates high-temperature carbonization within a sealed, low-oxygen environment, converting agricultural and forestry waste into biochar. Simultaneously, it recovers combustible pyrolysis gases for use as a heat source, ensuring high thermal efficiency and flue gas emissions that meet environmental standards, thereby enabling the resource recovery of solid waste. The equipment features a high degree of automation, with continuous processes for feeding, carbonization, discharging, and cooling. The resulting biochar possesses a highly porous structure, making it suitable for applications such as soil amendment, organic fertilizer production, adsorption materials, metallurgical reducing agents, and carbon-based fertilizers. The system offers excellent feedstock versatility; beyond rice husks, it can process a wide range of biomass materials—production remains stable simply by adjusting process parameters, such as carbonization temperature and feed rate, to suit the specific material.

Applicable Feedstocks:
1. Peanut shells, sunflower seed shells, and other melon/seed husks: These are relatively small in size and can be fed directly into the system after basic screening.
2. Coconut shells and palm shells: Characterized by high hardness and high calorific value, these yield "hard" biochar, which is ideal for water purification or as a precursor for activated carbon.
3. Nut shells and fruit pits (e.g., walnut, apricot, and peach shells; date and cherry pits): These produce high-strength biochar.
4. Sugarcane bagasse and coffee grounds: These organic residues contain sugars and require pre-drying to control moisture content.
5. Corn cobs: Highly porous and loose, these are easily carbonized; the resulting biochar is frequently used in organic fertilizers and as a substrate for mushroom cultivation. 6. Sawdust, wood flour, wood chips, and wood shavings: Offer good flowability and high adaptability.
7. Bamboo scraps, bamboo powder, and bamboo offcuts: Bamboo-based raw materials that yield biochar with excellent adsorption properties.
8. Tree branches, bark, and wood chips: Larger-sized materials that require shredding into particles of 3–5 cm or smaller.
Equipment Advantages:
1. Versatile functionality: Supports a flexible range of raw materials, allowing customers to source agricultural and forestry waste locally, thereby reducing procurement costs.
2. Continuous, oxygen-free carbonization: Combustible gases are recovered and used for process heating, minimizing the need for external fuel.
3. Sealed, negative-pressure production: Equipped with dust removal and purification systems to ensure compliance with environmental emission standards.
4. Optimized for loose, fine-grained materials: The feeding mechanism and reactor vessel design are specifically engineered to prevent issues like "bridging" (clogging) or the floating of light particles, ensuring stable, uninterrupted operation.
Rice husks serve as the primary design-basis feedstock for this equipment. Due to their uniform particle size and excellent flowability, they require minimal pre-processing—no complex shredding is needed. As long as the moisture content is controlled at ≤15%, the husks can be fed directly into the carbonization process. The resulting rice-husk biochar features a highly porous structure and moderate ash content; it is a high-demand product widely used for soil amendment in paddy fields, as a seedling substrate, for wastewater adsorption, and as an additive in refractory materials.
